Urban Leasing & Realty was honored to co-sponsor the 2nd annual Team RWB Veteran’s Day Race in the Woodlands on Saturday, November 12, 2011.
This year’s race offered both 5k and 10k race courses, which drew over 1400 runners, spectators, and volunteers. Runner’s enjoyed Team RWB racing shirts, as well as snacks compliments of Chick-fil-a and My Fit Foods, and free Shiner beer.
Katharine Plangman, Brittany Taggart, Scott Weaver, and Jessica St. John were a few of the Urban Leasing & Realty agents that spent the morning helping out with the race, and all were grateful for the beautiful fall weather compared to last year’s rain!
Team RWB is a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding wounded veterans through personal, one-on-one relationships. The team uses athletic events to inspire communities and raise awareness on behalf of wounded soldiers. To read more about Team RWB, visit their website here.
