1. ARCHWAY GALLERY PRESENTS THIRTEENTH ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION

Archway Gallery is honored to present its Thirteenth Annual Juried Competition, an opportunity for area artists and non-members of the gallery to participate in an exhibition of works in the beautiful Front Gallery. July 10th is the all-day opening reception and August 4th is the final day of the exhibition.

2. HOUSTON ARBORETUM PRESENTS SUPERFINE SUMMER PICNICS

Enjoy an all-inclusive picnic at the Arboretum! This locally curated experience includes all the picnic supplies you need for a perfect date night or group gathering. All you have to do is show up, enjoy, and return the supplies when you’re done. All picnic baskets include a complimentary 12 pack of Superfine Seltzers from Saint Arnold Brewing Company. Texas’ largest pop-culture festival returns with celebrities, shopping, and pop culture activities that will unite, inspire, and entertain.

4TH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS IN HOUSTON

Parades, fireworks and festivals return with a bang this Fourth of July as pandemic restrictions ease. Keep reading to find the perfect event to attend this weekend!

Liberty on the Lawn at Redemption Square – July 3rd – Join in on the celebration of Independence Day at Redemption Square with live music, kids entertainment, and fireworks! Confirmed Musical Acts include: Bri Bagwell, No Rehearsal, and Jenna Lynn. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket, food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Fourth of July in The Woodlands – July 3rd-4th – Celebrate freedom in The Woodlands with great food, live entertainment and family fun at multiple locations around The Woodlands! The event culminates with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Greater Houston area. Enjoy a variety of activities throughout The Woodlands! All sites will feature live music beginning at 6 p.m. with bands playing until the Fireworks Extravaganza at approximately 9:30 p.m on July 4th.

Shell Freedom Over Texas – July 4th – Houston’s signature patriotic celebration, Shell Freedom Over Texas, returns with a salute to America’s Frontline Heroes. The annual day-long festival is on hold for one more season, however, Houstonians can enjoy the City’s cherished tradition of music and patriotic moments via live broadcast on Sunday, July 4th from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. on ABC 13. Fireworks will reach 800 feet, almost doubling the height of the traditional show, for more to enjoy from further away.

July 4th Celebration & Street Fest in Tomball – July 4th – Tomball’s July 4th Celebration & Street Festival is filled with entertainment and All-American, award-winning event. Fireworks and food, music and more… this red, white and blue celebration is just what you’d expect from small town Texas!

Red, White and Boom in Sugar Land – July 4th – The skies of Sugar Land skies will light up with colorful pyrotechnics to celebrate America’s Independence Day. This free festival offers plenty of fun including an incredible fireworks display, music, food, vendors, and more. Enjoy the largest fireworks show in Fort Bend! Get ready for an evening full of patriotic family fun and activities for all ages, coupled with great food and live music! Entertainment and activities will include photo opportunities, vendor booths, and a main stage area featuring a variety of talent. The event will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display at approximately 9 p.m.

Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular at CityCentre – July 4th – Independence Day welcomes an evening of live music and a 15-minute fireworks spectacular that you don’t want to miss! Parking will be $10 cash only in the CityCentre Garage starting at 4pm.
