3. OAK CLIFF FILM FESTIVAL

In its 10th year, the Oak Cliff Film Festival has established itself as a significant city-wide event, featuring the best of Oak Cliff’s theatre and art venues, restaurants, bars, and small businesses. OCFF showcases brave and independent filmmaking of all stripes in an atmosphere that encourages and fosters filmmaking in Dallas and beyond.

SPEND YOUR DAYS ON WHITE ROCK LAKE

The 2021 season at White Rock Paddle Co has begun! Kayak by yourself, with a buddy, or try out a stand-up paddleboard. Open Wednesday-Sunday, this is the perfect way to spend a hot summer day. After water sports there are several nearby options for food such as Smoky Rose, Havana Cafe, and Urban Vines Wine Bistro. If your rental time is over but you’re not ready to leave, there is a 9.33 mile hike and bike trail around the lake.
