Best Houston Restaurants for Valentine’s Day (Dine in OR Take Home!)

ULR Picks for Valentine’s Day Dining

It’s that time of year again, but Valentine’s Day will look a bit different in 2021. Normally the standard for this special day is going out to a restaurant to enjoy a special meal together. This year plenty of restaurants are offering take-out meals so you can spend a quiet, cozy evening at home, too! Here are some of our favorite picks!

Below, we have compiled our favorite deals for the weekend. We have even included an option for your fur friends!

Dine-In:

Backstreet Cafe

$49-85 per person – Backstreet Cafe is offering three different meal options including Valentine’s Day brunch, Valentine’s Day dinner, and a Valentine’s couple menu!

Brenner’s on the Bayou

$99 per person – Diners get to select their 4 course meal. 3rd course options include a 10 ounce filet mignon, black bass, scallops and clams, and Colorado lamb loin.

Hugo’s

$49-85 per person – Hugo’s is offering three different meal options including Valentine’s Day brunch, Valentine’s Day dinner, and a Valentine’s couple menu!

North Italia

$65 per person – Diners can select their own 3 course meal and chose among items such as wild shrimp scampi, red wine glazed short rib, and Italian butter cake.

Rainbow Lodge

$89 per person – How any one will select their 3 course meal is beyond us. The dessert options alone have us stumped! Each meal is paired with a glass of sparkling wine.

State Fare

State Fair is offering two special Galentine’s Day meals including brunch and dinner.

State of Grace

$125 per person – After enjoying your first two courses, finish the meal with French almond cake, chocolate orbit cake or cherry sorbet!

Take-Out:

Brenner’s on the Bayou

$100-150 – For the entrée you can expect Roasted Prime Rib with Au Jus and Creamy Horseradish! Choose dinner for 2 or 4.

The Capital Grille

$175 – This 3 course prix fixe meal includes grilled asparagus with lemon mosto Sam’s mashed potatoes as the entrée side!

Perry’s

$60-99 per person – This Valentine’s Menu is extensive but personally we love a good Perry’s pork chop!
